MONTHLY DHARMA TALKS are given by eminent Seon (Zen) masters and venerable Buddhist monks or nuns.

Biography:

Hyedahl Sunim was born in Arunachal Pradesh, the northeast of India in Nov. 1973. After completing high school, he was ordained as a Theravada buddhist monk in 1991. He served as a teacher in Bodhicariya Senior Secondary School, Kolkata in 1999.

In June 2000, he came to Korea for further study and practice of Korean Buddhism. He was ordained in Korean Jogye Order as a Disciple of Ven. Won Myoung Sunim in Sept. 2001. He served his Master Ven. Won Myoung Sunim, until his last breath in 2003.

He has been practicing Korean Seon (meditation) in various Seon centers (선방) of Korea for about 10 years such as HyeUn Jeoungsa, Donghwasa, PeopJusa, Songgwangsa, Mangwolsa, GoUnsa, etc.

Presently, he is in charge of the Lotus Lantern International Meditation Center located on Kanghwa Island.
